{"id":351,"date":"2025-07-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/plyanalytics-wp\/?post_type=news&#038;p=351"},"modified":"2026-04-29T08:43:52","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T08:43:52","slug":"test-8","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/plyanalytics.com\/en\/news\/test-8\/","title":{"rendered":"PLY Markets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We\u2019re excited to mark the 2-year anniversary&nbsp;of our Nordic &amp; Baltic Value Portfolio&nbsp;\u2013 and to share some standout results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>+37% total return&nbsp;and 17% annualized return, while the OMX Baltic&nbsp;Benchmark GI&nbsp;delivered only +12%&nbsp;over the same two-year period. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our portfolio even outperformed the best-performing Baltic index&nbsp;\u2013 the OMX Vilnius GI, which gained 22%&nbsp;during the same period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes&nbsp;this performance even more compelling? While the portfolio\u2019s volatility was only slightly higher than that of the OMX Vilnius GI, we achieved a significantly stronger risk-adjusted return \u2013 with a Sharpe ratio of 1.5 vs. 0.95&nbsp;for the OMX Vilnius GI and 0.22 for OMX Baltic&nbsp;Benchmark GI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another key point:&nbsp;although the S&amp;P 500&nbsp;delivered a similar return, its Sharpe ratio was significantly lower&nbsp;(ranging between 0.8 and 0.9), highlighting the much greater risk-adjusted performance&nbsp;of the Nordic &amp; Baltic Value Portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curious how we\u2019ve successfully built a portfolio that beats the benchmarks?
